Font licenses
We offer three kinds of font software licensing to cover the overwhelming majority of use cases. Our licensing focuses on the individuals using the font software, rather than the number of computers, webpage views, or applications. Our license tables are tiered to reflect the scaling needs of clients, based on the numbers of people using the fonts internally (for Standard licensing), and externally (for Web and Embedding licensing.)
Standard licensing
- Fonts are sold as perpetual software licenses in OpenType (.otf) and TrueType (.ttf) formats.
- Pricing is based on the total number of people using the fonts.
- Permits the installation of the font software on desktop/laptop computers and/or access to the fonts via a font server.
- Permits use of the fonts in desktop/laptop software.
- Provides the fonts for research, development, and production purposes.
- Allows use of the fonts to be used to create graphics for print, digital, broadcast, and any other medium.
Web licensing
- Fonts are sold as perpetual software licenses in Web Open File Format, v1 & v2 (.woff & .woff2) formats.
- Pricing is based on the number of unique monthly visitors to the site(s) operated by the licensee.
- Provides the fonts for research, development, and production purposes.
- Permits installation of the fonts on web server(s) for display of dynamic text on websites using the @font-face tag in cascading style sheets (.css).
Embedding licensing
- Fonts are sold as perpetual software licenses in OpenType (.otf) and TrueType (.ttf) formats.
- Pricing is based on the number of unique monthly users of the software in which the fonts are packaged. (If monthly user numbers are not available, total downloads may be used.)
- Provides the fonts for research, development, and production purposes.
- Allows for the fonts to be packaged within the code of iOS and Android applications, games, digital publications, and other standalone software packages.
All licensing is perpetual and irrevocable. All licensing is a one-time cost with no recurring fees. All licensing can be extended to cover additional people.
Any license purchases of single weights or weight pairs will be applied to license purchases of family collections.

Unlimited licensing
- Additionally, we offer unlimited licensing for a one-time cost of 200 × base price.
- This perpetual and irrevocable license grants the rights to reproduce, distribute and exploit any works in any media that include the fonts worldwide, as now known or may be developed in the future, without restriction.
- Allows for the fonts to be distributed to third parties, such as partners and vendors.
